When trying to think about what an acronym for family would be I had a hard time because family means so many things, so how can I possibly think of only six words to describe it? Although these six words do not cover everything that encompasses the entry of value that family holds in my life, it is a start.
1. Faithfulness
My family is grounded on faith and with faith comes faithfulness. My parents raised me as an Episcopalian; therefore, going to church, reading Jesus Calling and praying throughout the day has been a part of my life since Kindergarton when I asked God into my heart. Not only has my family practiced faithfulness to God, we have also practiced it with each other.
2. Accountable
In my family we hold each other accoutable and let people know if we think they are acting out of line. At the same time, we are loyal to each other and know that we can count on one another.
3. Meaningful
I have a different reltionship with each member in my family and they all meet different needs. They each bring something unique and special to the table, which makes every relationship very intentional and meaningful.
4. Irreplaceable
To me, my family is absolutely irreplaceable. There is no one in the world that means more to me than my family.
5. Loving
My family is very loving; however, each member shows their love in their own unique way. Some by showing their emotion and affection and others by doing and actions.
6. Yourself
Family makes me feel like I can be myself. My parents have created the environment where you can be exactly who you want to be and they have given us the tools to acheive our goals.
