Yes my 21st birthday sign was in fact a salt shaker

I used to think quirkiness had bad connotations. For example, in middle school I thought it was social suicide to be quirky or weird. I think growing up I thought I should be suppressing the things that make me quirky because I didn’t want people’s perception of me to change.

However, overtime my opinion about quirkiness has changed. I have learned that if you own your quirkiness or weirdness it is seen as a form of confidence. I think that the more people just accept who they are and don’t try to hide the weird parts of you the more people respect you and get to know you.

5 things that are quirky/weird about me:

  1. I have an obsession with ALL condiments

  2. I love salt so much, but my favorite salt is garlic salt

  3. Annie’s mac and cheese is my go-to meal because cooking is a struggle

  4. I eat Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwhiches almost every morning

  5. If you know me, you know I am that kind of ADD that makes you know it is a REAL THING

You might be wondering why am I exposing myself? The answer is if you are going to get to know me past the surface level these are key weird things about me that you should know. Yes, I really am exposing my quirky side, but I see it as a form of confidence because at the end of the day if I can’t hide it, I might as well own it.
